Tuesday-Newsday #7

Today my featured subjects are Tax Resources for those with Disabilities, Cancer Pain, Fibromyalgia, and a piece about not over-committing youself beyond your limits called Making a NOT TO DO List.

Let Me Know: If you’d like me to watch for articles on your pain condition, just drop me a note in the comments section below.

I could use some prayers: My husband was hospitalized over the weekend for heart rhythm issues which we are now in the process of getting diagnosed. I pray that he doesn’t join us in the ranks of the ‘chronic’.

WARNING:  My goal is to provide the most up-to-date news I can, which you can then take to your personal doctor and debate the merits of before you try it. I do not endorse any of the docs, treatments, info, meds, etc., in anything I post nor can I guarantee that they are all effective, especially not for everyone. I always include the citation, source, or website so you know where it came from. As is the case with any health info, ALWAYS get your doctor's opinion first!

TAX RESOURCES FOR THOSE WITH DISABILITIES

With the April 18 tax filing deadline so close, the website Disability.gov would like to offer some tax-related resources recently made available. It’s a federal government site that provides an interactive, community-driven information network of disability-related programs, services, laws and benefits. preparedness, employment, health, housing, technology and transportation. Below are just some of the links you may find helpful:
